Terms and Conditions of WeChat Pay HK Offers ("Offers"):

  1. The promotion period is from 15 March 2023 to 30 June 2023 (both dates inclusive) ("Promotion Period").
  2. These Offers are organized by Hang Seng Bank Limited ("Hang Seng") and WeChat Pay Hong Kong Limited ("WeChat Pay Hong Kong").
  3. WeChat Pay HK is a mobile-based stored value facility managed and operated by WeChat Pay Hong Kong.
  4. The Offers are applicable to personal customers who are holding any single name of Hong Kong Dollars savings, current accounts or any Integrated Accounts at Hang Seng Bank (including Prestige Private, Prestige Banking, Preferred Banking and any other Integrated Account) ("Eligible Hang Seng Deposit Account") of Hang Seng Bank ("Customer").
  5. During the Promotion Period, Customers can receive one HKD15 Hang Seng Deposit Account exclusive e-cash voucher ("HKD15 E-Cash Voucher") after they have bound their Eligible Hang Seng Deposit Account to their WeChat Pay HK account for the first time ("Offer 1"). For the avoidance of doubt, Offer 1 is only applicable to Customer who has never bound any Eligible Hang Seng Deposit Account to his/her WeChat Pay HK account before the Promotion Period. Offer 1 is on a per customer basis. Each Customer will be eligible to receive a maximum of one (1) HKD15 E-Cash Voucher for Offer 1 during the Promotion Period. The HKD15 E-Cash Voucher will be credited to the Customer's WeChat Pay HK account and can be used upon making an Eligible Transaction of a single spending of HKD100 or above by direct debit from an Eligible Hang Seng Deposit Account via WeChat Pay HK at any designated merchants in Hong Kong that accept payments via WeChat Pay HK ("Designated Merchants").

  6. During the Promotion Period, Customers can receive one HKD20 Hang Seng Deposit Account exclusive e-cash voucher ("HKD20 E-Cash Voucher") after making an Eligible Transaction of a single spending of HKD100 or more through direct debit from an Eligible Hang Seng Deposit Account via WeChat Pay HK ("Offer 2"). Offer 2 is on a per customer basis. Each Customer can receive a maximum of one (1) HKD20 E-Cash Voucher per calendar month and a maximum of four (4) HKD20 E-Cash Vouchers during the Promotion Period. The HKD20 E-Cash Voucher will be credited to customer's WeChat Pay HK account and can be used upon making an Eligible Transaction of a single spending of HKD100 or above by direct debit from an Eligible Hang Seng Deposit Account via WeChat Pay HK at any Designated Merchants.

  7. The HKD15 E-Cash Voucher and HKD20 E-Cash Voucher are collectively referred to as "Hang Seng E-Cash Voucher". Each Hang Seng E-Cash Voucher will be valid for 30 days from the date of issuance and only one Hang Seng E-Cash Voucher can be used per transaction. Any expired Hang Seng E-Cash Voucher that has not been used will automatically become invalid and will not be reissued.
  8. Eligible Transactions include the designated posted local offline and online retail transaction made in Hong Kong Dollars (excluding tax payment, money transfer, bill payment, red packet, Telecom Payment, Utilities payment, top up for any stored value facilities, cross-border payment) by direct debit from an Eligible Hang Seng Deposit Account via WeChat Pay HK during the Promotion Period ("Eligible Transaction(s)").
  9. The Hang Seng E-Cash Vouchers are available on a first-come-first-served basis throughout the Promotion Period while the stock lasts, without prior notice. The number of Hang Seng E-Cash Vouchers available as recorded in the system of WeChat Pay Hong Kong shall prevail under any circumstances.
  10. On the WeChat Pay HK platform, Customers may go to the "Coupon" under "Offers" to check the Hang Seng E-Cash Voucher details. Only one Hang Seng E-Cash Voucher rewarded under the Offers will be deducted automatically per transaction in applicable circumstances. Hang Seng and WeChat Pay Hong Kong shall bear no liability if Customers cannot receive relevant Hang Seng E-Cash Voucher successfully and/or the relevant Hang Seng E-Cash Voucher is lost due to any circumstances.
  11. During the Promotion Period, each Customer can only participate in the Offers in accordance with these terms and conditions. For the avoidance of doubt, "each Customer" refers to a natural person with legal capacity who uses the WeChat Pay HK service, but not merely a WeChat Pay HK account. To further avoid any dispute, in the following circumstances, the relevant WeChat Pay HK accounts will be deemed to be used by the same Customer:
    1. logging in of multiple WeChat Pay HK accounts on the same mobile phone or mobile device; or
    2. logging in of the same WeChat Pay HK account with multiple mobile phones or mobile devices; or
    3. the same bank account or credit card number being connected to multiple WeChat Pay HK accounts.
    In the case of any of the above, in order to verify the Customer's identity and prevent the risk of theft or misuse of such WeChat Pay HK account, mobile phone number, mobile device, bank account number, or credit card number, WeChat Pay Hong Kong reserves the right to suspend or terminate the release of Offers rewarded to the relevant WeChat Pay HK account and to take legal action as it deems fit.
  12. Customers are not required to present the Hang Seng E-Cash Voucher when enjoying the Offers. Under applicable circumstances, the Hang Seng E-Cash Voucher will be deducted automatically upon Customers making subsequent Eligible Transactions using Eligible Hang Seng Deposit Account via WeChat Pay HK and the Hang Seng E-Cash Voucher will be shown as used after successful payment.
  13. If there is more than 1 e-cash voucher stored in "Coupon" under Customer's WeChat Pay HK account, under applicable circumstances, the e-cash voucher with the highest value will be used first. In case the e-cash vouchers are of the same value, the e-cash voucher with the earliest expiry date will be used first. Customers can only use one e-cash voucher for each transaction conducted with WeChat Pay HK unless otherwise specified.
  14. When WeChat Pay HK has more than one e-cash voucher promotions running concurrently, Customers will be entitled to all the e-cash voucher(s) as long as they can satisfy the relevant eligibility criteria for any or all promotions.
  15. The Hang Seng E-Cash Voucher is only applicable at Designated Merchants. The Hang Seng E-Cash Voucher cannot be exchanged for cash, nor can they be used to top up for any stored value facilities and are not applicable for any form of payment including tax payment, Person-to-Person (P2P) Payment transfer, local or international remittance, red packet, Telecom payment and Utilities payment. The Hang Seng E-Cash Voucher(s) are issued by WeChat Pay Hong Kong and can only be used for transaction paid by an Eligible Hang Seng Deposit Account via WeChat Pay HK. The use of Hang Seng E-Cash Voucher is subject to the respective terms and conditions to be determined by WeChat Pay Hong Kong from time to time. Please contact WeChat Pay Hong Kong for more details.
  16. By participating in the Offers, Customers accept and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions thereof and agree that WeChat Pay Hong Kong may use his/her personal information for the purpose of the Offers in accordance with .
  17. For goods return or refund by Customer, the amount on the relevant Hang Seng E-Cash Voucher will not be refunded and the relevant Hang Seng E-Cash Voucher will not be re-issued after being used.
  18. If there is any breach of these Terms and Conditions or illegal, fraudulent or abusive behavior to obtain/and use of any Hang Seng E-Cash Voucher, or if any Customer commits any act affecting other Customer's ability to participate in the Offers fairly, WeChat Pay Hong Kong and Hang Seng reserve the right to immediately cancel such Customer's eligibility for the Offers and the entitlement (if so obtained) to the Hang Seng E-Cash Voucher forthwith and without notice.
  19. Offers are not transferable, and cannot be redeemed for cash or other products, and cannot be used in conjunction with other Hang Seng promotional offers unless otherwise specified.
  20. No person other than the Customer, Hang Seng (which includes its successors and assigns) and WeChat Pay Hong Kong (which includes its successors and assigns) will have any right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance to enforce or enjoy the benefit of any of the provision of these Terms and Conditions.
  21. These Terms and Conditions are governed by and will be construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
  22. These Terms and Conditions are subject to prevailing regulatory requirements.
  23. The Offers are governed by these Terms and Conditions and other terms and conditions stipulated by WeChat Pay Hong Kong.
  24. Hang Seng and WeChat Pay Hong Kong reserve the right to vary or terminate the above Offers at any time and to amend the terms and conditions thereof from time to time without prior notice. In case of disputes, the decision of Hang Seng and WeChat Pay Hong Kong shall be final.
  25. In case of any discrepancy between the English and Chinese versions of these Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.
