Terms and Conditions for “Winter Wow Reward” (the “Promotion”): General Terms and Conditions: 1. The promotion period for Offer 1 and Offer 2 of the Promotion is from 25 November 2016 to 14 February 2017 (“Promotion Period”). 2. This Promotion is not applicable to Hang Seng UnionPay Renminbi Diamond Commercial Card, Renminbi Credit Card, USD Visa Gold Card, e-shopping MasterCard and Private Label Card. 3. To enjoy the Promotion offers, the principal card and its supplementary card customers must successfully and separately register their eligible cards once via the hotline 2998 6000 during the Promotion Period. Only eligible transactions made by the registered eligible credit card (“Eligible Credit Card”) from the registration date to the end of the Promotion Period will be counted for the rewards (“Eligible Transactions” vary for each offer, please refer to the relevant terms and conditions below for details). All Eligible Transactions must be completed within the relevant Promotion Period and posted to the relevant credit card accounts respectively on or before 28 February 2017. Upon completion of registration, customers will receive a reference number and they can check their registration dates by calling 2998 6000, which shall be final and conclusive. 4. The rewards are based on the net spending amount, which means the final amount charged to the Hang Seng Credit Card, and the use of any discount offers and Cash Dollars / enJoy Dollars / Merchant Dollars will not be taken into account. 5. No alteration or cancellation can be made to the registration, and all rewarded Cash Dollars / enJoy Dollars cannot be transferred or converted into cash under any circumstances. 6. Eligible Transactions do not include any overseas spending, online transactions (including bill payments, tax payments and retail purchases, except transactions made at Fortress e-Shop), cash coupon purchase, instalment payments, balance transfers, split transactions, "Octopus Automatic Add-Value Service" auto top-up amounts, autopays, cash advance transactions, annual fees / handling fees of cash advance / finance charges and late charges of credit cards, phone / fax orders (including bill payments and purchases) and any other transactions without sales slips or under recurring payment instructions. All transactions that are found to be fraudulent or eventually cancelled / returned will be considered as ineligible transactions and are not applicable to this promotion. 7. If more than 1 Eligible Transaction is made at the same merchant (based on the merchant name on the sales slip) on the same day, only 1 of these transactions (with the highest spending amount) will be eligible for this promotion. 8. Hang Seng Bank Limited (“Hang Seng”) will determine the eligibility of all Cash Dollars / enJoy Dollars to be rewarded based on the transactions records held by Hang Seng. In case of any disputes, Hang Seng’s records shall be final and conclusive. 9. The offers cannot be used in conjunction with other specific offers, including but not limited to Cash Dollars rewards of designated merchant offers, for details, please refer to the terms and conditions of the specific offers. 10. The extra Cash Dollars / enJoy Dollars will be credited into the eligible credit card accounts respectively in May 2017. Such credit card accounts should remain valid and in good standing when the relevant Cash Dollars / enJoy Dollars are credited. Customers can log in to Hang Seng Personal e-Banking (if applicable) or call 24-Hour Hang Seng Credit Card Marketing Enquiry Hotline 2998 6899 to check the reward details. 11. If the principal card and its supplementary card share the same credit limit, the total reward will be combined and credited to the principal card account. 12. Customers must keep the original sales slips of all posted transactions. Hang Seng reserves the right to request customers to provide the relevant original sales slips for verification. All sales slips submitted to Hang Seng will not be returned. 13. Use of Cash Dollars / enJoy Dollars is subject to the terms and conditions of Hang Seng Credit Card Membership Rewards Programme. All products, services and information related to this promotion are directly sold and supplied to customers by the relevant merchants who are solely responsible for all related obligations and liabilities. 15. Hang Seng reserves the right to suspend, revise or terminate the Promotion at any time and to amend the terms and conditions thereof from time to time. In case of any disputes, the decision of Hang Seng shall be final. 16. No person other than the customer and Hang Seng (which includes its successors and assigns) will have any right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance to enforce or enjoy the benefit of any of the provision of these Terms and Conditions. 17. These Terms and Conditions are governed by and will be construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. 18. These Terms and Conditions are subject to prevailing regulatory requirements. 19. The English version of these terms and conditions shall prevail whenever there is any discrepancy between the English and Chinese versions. Terms and Conditions of Offer 1 - “Rewards Every Day Everywhere” Offer: 1. Transactions with a single net spending of HKD600 or above at local retail merchants conducted with the Eligible Credit Card will be Eligible Transactions for this offer. Based on the number of Eligible Transactions, customers can enjoy the following extra Cash Dollars: $50 Cash Dollars for 5-9 Eligible Transactions; $150 Cash Dollars for 10-14 Eligible Transactions; $250 Cash Dollars for 15-19 Eligible Transactions; $350 Cash Dollars for 20 or more Eligible Transactions. 2. Upon accumulating Eligible Transactions of HKD15,000 or above, Hang Seng Prestige World MasterCard customers can earn extra $300 Cash Dollars, customers with other Eligible Credit Cards can earn extra $150 Cash Dollars. 3. For the whole Promotion Period, the reward for each credit card account is limited to a maximum of extra $650 Cash Dollars (for Hang Seng Prestige World MasterCard customers) / $500 Cash Dollars (for other Eligible Credit Card customers). If the principal card and its supplementary card share the same credit limit (i.e. the same credit card account), the total extra reward will be combined and credited to the principal card account, with a maximum of extra $650 Cash Dollars (for Hang Seng Prestige World MasterCard customers) / $500 Cash Dollars (for other Eligible Credit Card customers) can be earned). Terms and Conditions of Offer 2 - “Weekend Extra Rewards”: 1. Local retail transactions with a single net spending of HKD600 or above conducted with the Eligible Credit Card at Cash Dollars Designated Merchants (except Sogo, Festival Walk, Kowloon City Plaza, stores and restaurants in clubhouses) or local dining outlets on Saturdays and Sundays will be Eligible Transactions for this offer. For the list of Cash Dollars Designated Merchants, please refer to hangseng.com/cashmerc (Cash Dollars Designated Merchant list is subject to change from time to time without prior notice). Eligible merchants for the offer at local dining outlets shall be those defined as dining categories from time to time by Visa Worldwide Pte. Limited, MasterCard Asia Pacific (Hong Kong) Limited and China UnionPay according to their respective merchant category or by Hang Seng at its sole discretion. Designated eligible transactions and eligible merchant categories shall be determined respectively at the sole and absolute discretion of Hang Seng. 2. Customers can earn extra $20 Cash Dollars with every HKD600 spent in a single net spending of Eligible Transactions. For relevant spending at enJoy Card Designated Merchants (for the list of enJoy Card Designated Merchants, please visit hangseng.com/enjoycard), Hang Seng enJoy Card customers can earn extra $20 enJoy Dollars with every HKD600 spent in a single net spending. Extra Cash Dollars / enJoy Dollars will not be rewarded on a pro-rated basis if the spending amount is less than HKD600 and / or multiples of HKD600. The extra reward for each Eligible Transaction for this offer is limited to a maximum of $100 Cash Dollars / enJoy Dollars. 3. If the merchant of the Eligible Transactions conducted is a Cash Dollars Designated Merchant in dining category, the transaction can be entitled to “Weekend Extra Rewards” at Cash Dollars Designated Merchants only, and cannot be entitled to “Weekend Extra Rewards” at local dining outlets at the same time. 4. Local dining outlets exclude restaurants in hotels, banquet services, private parties / functions, private room events, cake / bakery shops and dining outlets in department stores, associations and clubhouses. 5. For the whole Promotion Period, the extra rewards for each credit card account are limited to a maximum of $400 Cash Dollars / enJoy Dollars for offers at Cash Dollars Designated Merchants and local dining outlets respectively, i.e. a total of $800 Cash Dollars / enJoy Dollars (if the principal card and its supplementary card share the same credit limit (i.e. the same credit card account), the total extra reward will be combined and credited to the principal card account, with a maximum of $800 Cash Dollars / enJoy Dollars can be earned in total). Note: Hang Seng Spending Card account is a non-interest bearing account. Funds maintained in the Hang Seng Spending Card account are not protected deposits and are not protected by the Deposit Protection Scheme in Hong Kong.
