Maximum deposit limit has been uplifted

Just take a photo of the front and back of the cheque through Hang Seng Mobile App without leaving home anymore!

Since our service launch, we've noticed that many customers prefer having a higher deposit limit. Hence, the service has now been enhanced:

  • Maximum individual cheque amount has been uplifted from HKD20,000 to HKD100,000 per cheque

  • Maximum deposit amount has been uplifted from HKD20,000 to HKD100,000 per settlement day

  • Maximum total number of cheques to be deposited has been uplifted from 5 cheques to 20 cheques per settlement day

Other service highlights:

  • 24/7 instant free deposit. You can deposit cheques using the service before 5:30 p.m. on the settlement day, and the funds will be credited on the next settlement day[1] at the soonest

  • Accept HKD cheques from Hang Seng or HSBC[2]

Signature and Prestige Banking customers can even present the new interface to eligible merchants for identification to enjoy relevant privileges (such as EC Healthcare privileges and Club Avenue membership by Lee Gardens).
