Terms and Conditions of Secondary Market Bonds Subscription Fee Rebate Offer

  1. The promotion period is from 1 July 2026 to 30 September 2026, both dates inclusive (the "Promotion Period").
  2. The Offer is applicable to Prestige Private and Prestige Banking personal customers of Hang Seng Bank Limited (the "Bank") who, according to the Bank’s record, did not subscribe Secondary Market Bonds from 1 July 2021 to 30 June 2026 ("Eligible Customers").
  3. During the Promotion Period, Eligible Customers who successfully complete the first subscription of secondary market bond through the Bank's branches, Hang Seng Personal e-Banking, or Hang Seng Mobile App will enjoy an additional 6% bonus interest rate in the first month (the "Offer").

  4. The offer is calculated on a per-eligible customer basis. Each eligible customer can receive a maximum of HKD3,500/HKD2,500 in additional interest during the promotion period (depending on the eligible customer's investment amount and integrated account type).
  5. The Bank will convert the relevant investment amount into Hong Kong dollars at the exchange rate determined by the Bank on the last dealing day of September 2026 to calculate the offer available to eligible customers.
  6. Example of the calculation of the Bonus Interest offer is illustrated as follows :
    Assuming the Eligible Customer is a Prestige Private customer and successfully subscribes to the following secondary market bond during the promotional period: Bonus Interest Offer
    Subscription date: 6 July 2026
    Investment product: Secondary Market Bond A
    Investment period: 6 months
    Subscription amount: HKD700,000
    Calculation period of additional Interest = 1 month
    (HKD700,000 x 6%) x 1/12 month = HKD3,500
    Subscription date: 17 August 2026
    Investment product: Secondary Market Bond B
    Investment period: 6 months
    Subscription amount: HKD100,000
    Not eligible to the Offer due to not having the first bond subscription during the promotion period.
    Based on the illustrative example calculation above, eligible customers may enjoy a discount of HKD3,500 under the illustrative example for this promotion.
    *The above illustrative example is for reference only, and this calculation should not be regarded as the actual discount amount.
  7. The Bank will deposit the additional interest into the HKD settlement account of the Eligible Customer’s relevant Prestige Private/Prestige Banking/Family+ Account in Hong Kong dollars.
  8. When the additional interest is deposited, Eligible Customers must still hold the relevant Prestige Private/Prestige Banking/Family+ Account; otherwise, Eligible Customers will not be able to enjoy this offer.
  9. Unless otherwise specified, the Offer is not applicable to Commercial Banking, Private Banking customers of the Bank and cannot be used in conjunction with "Online Investment up to 8% p.a. Bonus Interest Rate Offer" and other offer(s) of the Bank. The higher reward will be offered to Eligible Customers.
  10. No person other than the Eligible Customer and the Bank (which includes its successors and assigns) will have any right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance to enforce or enjoy the benefit of any of the provision of these Terms and Conditions.
  11. These Terms and Conditions are governed by and will be construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
  12. These Terms and Conditions are subject to prevailing regulatory requirements.
  13. For more details of the Promotion, please contact the Bank's staff. The Promotion is provided by the Bank. The Bank reserves the right to suspend, vary or terminate the Promotion and to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. The Bank also reserves the right of final decision on all matters relating to the Promotion, which shall be binding on all parties concerned.
  14. In case of any discrepancy between the English and the Chinese versions of these Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.
