Hang Seng PayDay+ Customer Referral Reward (2 July 2026 – 30 September 2026) Terms and Conditions


General Terms and Conditions

  1. Unless otherwise specified, the promotion period of Hang Seng PayDay+ Customer Referral Reward (“Reward”) is from 2 July 2026 to 30 September 2026, both dates inclusive (“Promotion Period”).
  2. Hang Seng Bank Limited (“Bank”) reserves the right to suspend, vary or terminate this Reward and to amend the terms and conditions at any time and from time to time without prior notice. The decision of the Bank on all matters relating to this Reward shall be final and binding on all the parties concerned. The Reward is subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant product/service. If there is any inconsistency between the terms and conditions of the relevant product/service and these terms and conditions, these terms and conditions prevail in all matters relating to the Reward. In case of any discrepancy between the English and the Chinese versions of the terms and conditions, the English version prevails.
  3. No person other than the customer and the Bank (which includes its successors and assigns) has any right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance to enforce or enjoy the benefit of any of the provisions of these terms and conditions.
  4. These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
  5. These terms and conditions are subject to prevailing regulatory requirements.

Eligibility Details

  1. To qualify as a referrer (“Referrer”) for the Reward, the customer must fulfil the following requirements:
    1. Hold an Integrated Account of Prestige Private, Prestige Banking or Preferred Banking (“Eligible Account”) with the Bank, in the customer’s sole name or as the primary account holder of a joint account; and
    2. Be recognised as an Eligible Payroll Customer during the Promotion Period and at the time of reward distribution, with an Eligible Payroll Record maintained with the Bank. An “Eligible Payroll Record” refers to HKD salary credited via Autopay from the employer’s company account into the customer’s HKD Savings / HKD Current Account under the Eligible Account (“Payroll Account”). The customer’s identity as an Eligible Payroll Customer will be updated in the Bank’s record on the 7th working day of the month following the month in which the Eligible Payroll Record is made. For the purposes of the Reward, working day refers to Monday to Saturday (excluding public holidays).

      Only salary transfer instructions indicated for payroll purposes and recognised by the Bank’s system as such may be considered as Eligible Payroll Record. Any salary transferred on a public holiday/after the cut-off time of the Bank will be processed on the next working day. The Bank reserves the right of final decision should there be any dispute regarding the definition of “Eligible Payroll Record” or the recognition of the customer’s identity as an “Eligible Payroll Customer”; and
    3. Successfully complete the Bank’s designated online referral form through the Bank’s website as designated by the Bank from time to time within the Promotion Period. A referral code relating to the Promotion will be shown in the confirmation page (“Referral Code”). All information provided by the Referrer in the online referral form must match the Bank’s records.
  2. To be entitled to the Reward, the Referrer must make a “Successful Referral” by fulfilling all the following requirements:
    1. The Referrer shares the Referral Code with the referee (“Referee”) during the Promotion Period; and
    2. The Referee obtains or maintains Prestige Private, Prestige Banking or Preferred Banking customer status during the Promotion Period; and
    3. The Referee registers for the PayDay+ Welcome Cash Reward (2 July 2026 – 30 September 2026) (Details: ) in the Hang Seng Mobile App and enters the Referral Code in the “Promotional code” field during the Promotion Period, and the Referral Code entered by the Referee during the registration must match the Bank’s records. Each Referee can only register once. Once the Referee’s application is submitted, the record cannot be amended. In case of any dispute, the Bank’s records are final and conclusive; and
    4. The Referee becomes a New Payroll Customer. “New Payroll Customers” refers to customers who:
      1. Have no payroll record under any single/joint-named account (including joint-named accounts held in the name of a secondary account holder) of the Bank from 1 April 2026 to 30 June 2026; and
      2. Set up payroll service with the first Eligible Payroll Record logged in the Referee’s Eligible Account between 2 July 2026 and 31 October 2026. The customer must then maintain the “Eligible Payroll Record” in each subsequent calendar month until 31 March 2027; and
      3. Are not (a) the Bank’s Commercial Customers; (b) personal customers aged under 18; or (c) the Bank’s staff.
  3. Subject to these terms and conditions, upon fulfilling all the requirements listed in clauses 6 and 7, the Referrer will receive the following Cash Reward for each Successful Referral:

  4. Each Successful Referral shall be assessed on a per Referee (customer) basis (and not on an account basis). Accordingly, where the Referee’s payroll account is a joint account, and/or where the Referee maintains more than one payroll account with the Bank, the Referrer shall be entitled to one Reward only in respect of that Referee.
  5. Referrers must not refer themselves or any other account holders of the Referrer’s payroll account (where the payroll account is a joint account) as a Referee.
  6. Subject to these terms and conditions, the Reward will be credited to the HKD Savings Account/HKD Current Account under the Eligible Account held by the Referrer, and the Bank may choose which account to credit the Reward to. At the time of distribution, the Referrer must still maintain the Eligible Account and Payroll Account, and the Referee must still maintain the Eligible Payroll Record, or the Referrer is deemed to have forfeited the right to receive the Reward at the Bank’s sole discretion and the Reward will not be paid through any other channels.
  7. This Reward is not applicable to:
    1. The Bank’s Commercial Customers; or
    2. Personal Customers aged under 18; or
    3. The Bank’s staff.
