Terms and Conditions for “Earn & Fly to Tokyo” Lucky Draw Campaign

  1. “Earn & Fly to Tokyo” Lucky Draw Campaign (“Campaign”) will be held by Hang Seng Bank Limited (“Hang Seng Bank”) during the period from 15 January 2025 to 31 March 2025 (both dates inclusive) (“Promotion Period”).
  2. To be eligible for this Campaign, customers must download Hang Seng Olive Application (“Hang Seng Olive App”) and register as a Hang Seng Olive member (“Eligible Participants”) during the Promotion Period.

How to join the “Earn & Fly to Tokyo” Lucky Draw?

  1. Eligible Participants have to complete the designated task(s) as stated below (“Designated Missions”) during the Promotion Period to earn corresponding lucky draw entry(ies) via Hang Seng Olive App. Lucky draw entries will be used for joining the lucky draw. Details of the Designated Missions are as follows:

    Read Health Article Daily Eligible Participants can attain a maximum of 1 lucky draw entry per day.

    Eligible Participants can complete this Mission at most 30 times throughout the entire Campaign.
    Hang Seng Olive Membership upgrade Eligible Participant can get 2 lucky draw entries for each Hang Seng Olive membership upgrade (i.e., Bronze to VIP Silver or VIP Gold, or VIP Silver to VIP Gold).
    Successfully set up eAppointment for Insurance Solutions Eligible Participants who have successfully set up eAppointment for Insurance Solutions (“eAppointment”) via Hang Seng e-Banking, Hang Seng Personal Banking Mobile App or Hang Seng Olive, and scanned the QR code with Hang Seng Olive provided by Hang Seng Bank after the eAppointment to check in during the Promotion Period will be entitled to receive 1 lucky draw entry.

    Eligible Participants can complete this Mission at most once throughout the entire Campaign.
    Successfully apply and input general insurance policy redemption code
    1. Eligible Participants who successfully apply for Designated General Insurance Plan(s) online via Chubb’s website accessed via Hang Seng Bank website, Hang Seng Personal Banking Mobile App or Hang Seng Personal e-Banking, or successfully apply for Single Trip Cover by logging on to Personal e-Banking via Hang Seng Personal Banking Mobile App during the period from 15 January 2025 to 16 March 2025 (both dates inclusive), both with successful policy issuance, will obtain a general insurance policy redemption code to redeem 3 lucky draw chances within the Promotion Period. Eligible participants can apply for a maximum of 10 insurance policies (including Designated Life Insurance Plan(s) or Designated General Insurance Plan(s)) with successful policy issuance during the entire Promotion Period. For example, Eligible Participants can get up to 30 lucky draw chances if they successfully apply for 10 Designated General Insurance Policies throughout the entire Campaign. If Eligible Participants applied for more than 10 Designated Life Insurance Plan(s) or Designated General Insurance Plan(s) with successful policy issuance during the entire Promotion Period, Hang Seng Bank will only issue redemption codes for the first 10 insurance policies issued.
    2. Designated General Insurance Plans are the Travelsure Protection Plan (Single Trip Cover, Annual China Cover and Annual Global Cover), Home Care Plus Home Insurance Plan, Domestic Helper Insurance Plan, Part-time Domestic Helper Insurance Plan, Personal Accident Insurance Plan and Studysure Protection Plan.
    3. Each policy redemption code can only be redeemed once during the Promotion Period, otherwise it will be void. Only Eligible Participants who fulfill all criteria below can receive and input the policy redemption code for redeeming the lucky draw chances:
      • Being the policyholder(s) of the designated insurance plan(s);
      • Being the personal customer(s) of Hang Seng Bank with Prestige Private, Prestige Banking, Preferred Banking, Integrated Account, Family+ Account, Savings/Current Account or Hang Seng Credit Card;
      • Being the holder(s) of a Hang Seng Olive account; and
      • Having registered and maintaining a valid Hong Kong local mobile number in the record of Hang Seng Bank.
    4. The policy redemption code will be sent via SMS/MMS to the valid Hong Kong local mobile number in the record of Hang Seng Bank of such Eligible Participant before the end of the Promotion Period.
    5. Any applications for the Designated General Insurance Plans with unposted/cancelled/refunded premium will not be qualified as eligible applications for this Campaign.
    Successfully apply and input life insurance policy redemption code
    1. Eligible Participants who successfully apply for any Designated Life Insurance Plan(s) online via Hang Seng Bank website, Hang Seng Personal e-Banking or Hang Seng Personal Banking Mobile App (not applicable to applications via Yuu platform) during the period from 15 January 2025 to 5 March 2025 (both dates inclusive) with successful policy issuance on or before 16 March 2025 will obtain a life policy redemption code to redeem 4 lucky draw chances within the Promotion Period. Eligible participants can apply for a maximum of 10 insurance policies (including Designated Life Insurance Plan(s) or Designated General Insurance Plan(s)) with successful policy issuance during the entire Promotion Period. For example, Eligible Participants can get up to 40 lucky draw chances if they successfully apply for 10 Designated Life Insurance Policies throughout the entire Campaign. If Eligible Participants applied for more than 10 Designated Life Insurance Plan(s) or Designated General Insurance Plan(s) with successful policy issuance during the entire Promotion Period, Hang Seng Bank will only issue redemption codes for the first 10 insurance policies issued.
    2. Designated Life Insurance Plans are the QuickReward Endowment Life Insurance Plan (1-Year), The Choice 5-Year Life Insurance Plan (HKD)/ (USD), ImperialDragon (RMB) Life Insurance Plan, eCancerPro Insurance Plan, eFamilyPro Life Insurance Plan, EasyRefund 100% Global Hospital Cash Plan (3-Year), eIncomePro Deferred Annuity Plan (100% Guaranteed) and CouponPower Guaranteed Life Insurance Plan.
    3. Each policy redemption code can only be redeemed once during the Promotion Period, otherwise it will be void. Only Eligible Participants who fulfill all criteria below can receive and input the policy redemption code for redeeming the lucky draw chances:
      • Being the policyholder(s) of the designated insurance plan(s);
      • Being the personal customer(s) of Hang Seng Bank with Prestige Private, Prestige Banking, Preferred Banking, Integrated Account, Family+ Account, Savings/Current Account or Hang Seng Credit Card;
      • Being the holder(s) of a Hang Seng Olive account; and

    4. The policy redemption code will be sent via SMS/MMS to the valid Hong Kong local mobile number in the record of Hang Seng Bank of such Eligible Participant before the end of the Promotion Period.
    5. Any applications for the Designated Life Insurance Plans with unposted/cancelled/refunded premium will not be qualified as eligible applications for this Campaign.
    Invite a Friend Eligible Participants who successfully invite a new user to register for Hang Seng Olive App can get 2 lucky draw entries. The invited friends must enter “My Referral Code” shared by the existing Olive members during registration for such registration to count towards this mission.

    Eligible Participants can complete this mission at most 5 times throughout the entire Campaign, which means each Eligible Participants can earn up to 10 lucky draw entries in this mission.
    Credit Card binding Eligible Participants can get 1 lucky draw entries per Hang Seng credit card binding.
    Eligible Participants can complete this mission at most once throughout the entire Promotion Period. Only eligible credit cards issued by Hang Seng Bank which are applicable to the card binding feature of Hang Seng Olive App will be accepted.
    Entry will be given to (1) Eligible Participants whose credit card remain bound with Hang Seng Olive App during the Promotion Period; or (2) Eligible Participants who bind any eligible credit card issued by Hang Seng Bank for the first time during the Promotion Period.

How to join the Campaign?

  1. Eligible Participants can use the lucky draw entries earned to participate in the lucky draw via Hang Seng Olive App. Subject to Clause 7, the prizes for the lucky draw are as follows (“Prizes”):
    1. Golden Cabin Flash Prize (subject to Clause 5)
    2. HKD 100 Maxim’s e-Gift Voucher
    3. HKD50 Klook e-Gift Card
    4. HKD25 Starbucks e-Gift Card
    5. Premium discount / waiver for certain life insurance / general insurance plans selected by Hang Seng Bank
    6. 500 Olive Points

    8. 10 Olive Points
    For further details of the Prizes (including their availability), please refer to relevant page of the Prizes in Hang Seng Olive App.
  2. A Golden Cabin will appear from time to time on the Campaign page at Hang Seng Olive App starting from 20 January 2025 to 28 March 2025. Eligible Participants who draw Prize(s) whenever the Golden Cabin appears will have a chance to win a round-trip ticket between Hong Kong and Tokyo of Japan ("Golden Cabin Flash Prize").
  3. Each Prize winner will receive Hang Seng Olive Points or an e-voucher through Hang Seng Olive App depending on the Prizes drawn. The e-voucher can be used for the redemption of the corresponding Prize.
  4. The Prizes are distributed at random upon participating in the lucky draw and are available while stocks last. Eligible Participants who are not able to draw a Prize will receive a “Thanks for joining” notification.


General Terms and Conditions

  1. Hang Seng Bank reserves the right to suspend, revise or terminate any of the terms and conditions of this Campaign and/or adjust, withdraw or cancel this Campaign and/or any of the offers at any time without prior notice and without giving any reasons whatsoever. The decision(s) of Hang Seng Bank on all matters relating to this Campaign and relevant offers shall be final and binding on all parties concerned. In case of any disputes, the decision of Hang Seng Bank shall be final.
  2. Hang Seng Bank reserves the right to vary or replace the Prizes of this Campaign with other prizes at any time without prior notice and without giving any reason. The value and/or nature of the substitutes may differ from the original prizes offered.
  3. Hang Seng Bank has the sole discretion to determine the eligibility of the participant for the Campaign based on the records held on Hang Seng Bank and/or Hang Seng Olive App. In case of any disputes, the record of Hang Seng Bank shall be final.
  4. The Prizes cannot be cancelled, altered, transferred, returned, refunded or exchanged for cash by any winner under any circumstances. Apart from the responsibilities stipulated by law, Hang Seng Bank accepts no liability for any loss, damage or impact resulting from the prizes.
  5. For prizes supplied by third parties, Hang Seng Bank shall not be responsible for any legal liabilities related to the prizes. The suppliers of the prizes shall be solely responsible for all issues relating to the prizes including quality and availability. Any disputes or complaints relating to the prizes shall be settled between the winners and suppliers directly.
  6. The redemption and use of Olive Points are subject to the Hang Seng Bank Limited User Agreement for Hang Seng Olive (Mobile App) (“User Agreement”). For details, please refer to the User Agreement.
  7. If this Campaign does not operate as planned for any reason, which includes but is not limited to computer virus, bugs, worms, Trojan horses, denial of service attacks, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Hang Seng Bank that corrupt or affect the administration, system security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Campaign, Hang Seng Bank reserves the right and sole discretion to disqualify any Eligible Participant and retrieve the Prizes without prior notice.
  8. Any transactions which are eventually cancelled, returned or found to be fraudulent will be ineligible for the Campaign.
  9. Hang Seng Bank shall not be held liable for any delay, disruption or non-availability of the Campaign. Hang Seng Bank shall not accept any liability, obligation or legal responsibility for not being able to hold, organize or arrange the Campaign.
  10. Unless otherwise specified, Eligible Participants can enjoy the offers in this Campaign in conjunction with other promotional offers.
  11. No person other than the Eligible Participants and Hang Seng Bank (which includes its successors and assigns) will have any right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance to enforce or enjoy the benefit of any of the provision of these terms and conditions.
  12. These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
  13. In case of any discrepancy between the English and the Chinese versions of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.

Important Information about Insurance Plans

Please refer to the promotion leaflets/flyers and policy documents for important information such as detailed coverage, exact terms and conditions and exclusions of the relevant insurance plans, and the provisions in the policy documents shall be final. Please refer to the product brochures for the relevant product risks.


The Designated General Insurance Plans are underwritten by Chubb Insurance Hong Kong Limited (“Chubb”), which is authorized and regulated in Hong Kong SAR by the Insurance Authority (“IA”). Chubb reserves the right of final approval of the policy issuance. Hang Seng Bank is registered as an insurance agency by the IA (Licence No.: FA3168) and authorized by Chubb for distribution of these plans. These plans are products of Chubb and not Hang Seng Bank.


The Designated Life Insurance Plans are underwritten by Hang Seng Insurance Company Limited (“Hang Seng Insurance”), which is authorized and regulated in Hong Kong SAR by the IA. Hang Seng Insurance reserves the right of final approval of the policy issuance. Hang Seng Bank is registered as an insurance agency by the IA (Licence No.: FA3168) and authorized by Hang Seng Insurance for distribution of these plans. These plans are products of Hang Seng Insurance and not Hang Seng Bank.


Upon application for the abovementioned insurance plans, insurance premium will be payable to the relevant insurers, and the relevant insurers will provide Hang Seng Bank with commission and performance bonus as remuneration for distribution of these plans. The existing staff remuneration policy on sales offered by Hang Seng Bank takes into account various aspects of the staff performance instead of focusing solely on the sales amount.


In respect of an eligible dispute (as defined in the Terms of Reference for the Financial Dispute Resolution Centre in relation to the Financial Dispute Resolution Scheme) arising between Hang Seng Bank and the customer out of the selling process or processing of the related transaction, Hang Seng Bank is required to enter into a Financial Dispute Resolution Scheme process with the customer; however, any dispute over the contractual terms of the insurance products, underwriting, claims and policy service should be resolved directly between Chubb or Hang Seng Insurance (as the case may be) and the customer.
