11. Monthly Guaranteed Annuity Income is payable on each monthiversary starting from the commencement date of the Annuity Period⁽¹²⁾. The Monthly Guaranteed Annuity Income will be directly deposited into the designated Hang Seng Bank saving account.

18. You may apply online for more than 1 Hang Seng Insurance’s QuickReward Endowment Life Insurance Plan (1-Year) policy with RMB premium option. Yet QuickReward offers limited quota and if you would like to apply for more than 1 QuickReward Endowment Life Insurance Plan (1-Year) policy with RMB premium option, please note that your total premium paid for all life insurance plans in Hang Seng Insurance cannot exceed RMB11,000,000.
19. In the unfortunate event of the death of the Life Insured while the Policy is in force, the beneficiary(ies) will receive a lump-sum payment of Death Benefit equals to 101% of the Total Premium Paid for the Basic Plan as at the date of the death of the Life Insured.
20. In the unfortunate event of the accidental death of the Life Insured before the end of the policy term, in addition to the above Death Benefit, the beneficiary(ies) will receive the Accidental Death Benefit, which equals to 10% of the Total Premium Paid under the Basic Plan.
21. This is the return rate in USD annual payment mode with first year premium discount included.

25. Such Hospital Confinement has to be certified by a Registered Doctor to be Medically Necessary. “Medically Necessary” means medical services and Hospital Confinement which are necessary for the care or treatment of the Bodily Injury, Sickness, Disease or Illness and which are: (i) consistent with the diagnosis and customary medical treatment for medical condition; and (ii) in accordance with good and prudent medical practice; and (iii) not for the convenience of the Policyholder, the Life Insured or any individual who cares for him or any individual who is part of his family.
26. A Sickness, Disease or Illness occurring at least 30 days after the Policy Date or effective date of reinstatement of the Policy, whichever is later.
27. The Policyholder will be entitled to a refund of 103% of Total Premiums Paid (for policy with annual payment mode) while the Policy must be still in force upon the Benefit Cessation Date of Basic Plan, and no benefit have been paid or become payable under any Supplementary Benefits⁽²⁸⁾. 28. Supplementary Benefits include Daily Hospital Cash Benefit, Extra Hospital Cash Benefit, and Accidental Death Benefit.

30. During the whole Policy Term of the Plan, this benefit will be paid up to 300 days for all Hospital Confinements per policy, with limit at 100 days per policy year. The benefit of Daily Hospital Cash Benefit will be terminated automatically upon the payment of 300 days of the Daily Hospital Cash Benefit. If in the case where the Hospital Confinement⁽³³⁾ occurs in a place other than listed as a Benefit Area⁽³²⁾, the Daily Hospital Cash Benefit will be limited to 50% of the protection amount and the benefit will only be paid up to 30 days for Hospital Confinement per policy.
31. The Extra Hospital Cash Benefit, up to 60 days during the whole Policy Term, shall be paid.  The Extra Hospital Cash Benefit will immediately and automatically cease once (i) Hang Seng Insurance has paid Extra Hospital Cash Benefit for 60 days; or (ii) Hang Seng Insurance has paid Daily Hospital Cash Benefit for 300 days (whichever is earlier).  If in the case where the Hospital Confinement⁽³³⁾ occurs in a place other than listed as a Benefit Area⁽³²⁾, the Extra Hospital Cash Benefit will be limited to 50% of the protection amount and the benefit will only be paid up to 30 days for Hospital Confinement per policy.
32. “Benefit Area” means the following places: Hong Kong SAR, Macau SAR, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Japan, South Korea, Canada, United States of America, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand.
33. If the Hospital Confinement occurs in mainland China (excluding the Hong Kong SAR, the Macau SAR and Taiwan), Hang Seng Insurance will only pay Daily Hospital Cash Benefit under this policy if the medical services are provided in the hospitals that are formally assessed and rated by the National Health Commission of the People's Republic of China or local governments’ health commissions of the People's Republic of China as a “Class III Grade A” hospital or above.
34. Calculation of the premium is based on a 35-year-old female non-smoker with a Sum Insured of HKD1,500,000, inclusive of the first-year premium waiver. The figure is rounded up to the nearest 1 decimal place.
35. CouponPower will provide Monthly Guaranteed Income on every Monthiversary starting from the 2nd Monthiversary of the policy term until policy maturity (i.e. 10th Policy Anniversary).
36. If the Life Insured is diagnosed with breast or lung cancer by a registered doctor, he/she will receive a lump sum payout for the designated cancer benefit. If the Life Insured is diagnosed by a Registered Doctor as suffering from Cancer or Carcinoma-in-situ in mainland China (excluding the Hong Kong SAR, the Macau SAR and Taiwan), we will only pay the Designated Cancer Benefit under this Policy if the Cancer or Carcinoma-in-situ is diagnosed by a Registered Doctor in a hospital that is formally assessed and rated by the National Health Commission of the People’s Republic of China or local governments’ health commissions of the People’s Republic of China as a “Class III Grade A” hospital or above. Notwithstanding that, in case the Life Insured suffers from more than one Cancer or Carcinoma-in-situ, this Supplementary Benefit will only be paid once in respect of the Life Insured under each Policy. In no event shall the Company pay both the Death Benefit and Designated Cancer Benefit at the same time under this Policy. Accidental Death Benefit will be automatically terminated (i) when such Accidental Death Benefit is paid out, or (ii) on the date the Policy of the Basic Plan lapses, terminates, expires, becomes void, is cancelled or is surrendered7, or (iii) on the Benefit Cessation Date of this Supplementary Benefit (whichever is the earliest).
37. Accidental Death Benefit will be automatically terminated (i) when such Accidental Death Benefit is paid out, or (ii) on the date the Policy of Basic Plan lapses, terminates, expires, becomes void, is cancelled or is surrendered, or (iii) on the Benefit Cessation Date of this Supplementary Benefit (whichever is the earliest).
38. This annualised guaranteed rate of return is subject to payment mode, policy currency and premium discount.
39. Unemployment Benefit is only applicable to individuals who hold a valid Hong Kong Identity Card. To be eligible to claim this Benefit, the Policyholder should be unemployed for at least 30 consecutive days and be qualified for payment of severance benefits under the Employment Ordinance of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Unemployment Benefit will be automatically terminated when (i) the Policyholder’s Insurance Age⁽⁴⁰⁾ reaches 65, or (ii) the end of the payment term, or (iii) on the date the Policy of basic plan lapses, terminates, expires, becomes void, is surrender or cancelled (whichever is the earliest). 40. Insurance Age means, at any date, the age of the Life Insured or Policyholder (if applicable) on the most recent birthday prior to the Policy Date plus the number of completed Policy Years. If the Life Insured’s or Policyholder’s (if applicable) birthday is on the Policy Date, it will be calculated based on the age on such Policy Date.
