Terms and conditions for the "Olive Points Offer for the Enrollment of CouponPower Life Insurance Plan" (“Promotion”):
- The promotion period is from 26 August 2024 to 31 December 2024 (both dates inclusive) ("Promotion Period").
- This Promotion is not applicable to corporate customers of Hang Seng Bank Limited (“Hang Seng Bank”).
- Eligible Customer of the Promotion must have a valid local Hong Kong mobile number registered with Hang Seng Bank to receive SMS notifications (“Registered Mobile Number”) in order to participate in this Promotion.
- Subject to these terms and conditions, a customer must:
- Submit an online application for the CouponPower Life Insurance Plan ("Eligible Policy") with the designated promotion code successfully on Hang Seng Bank website during the Promotion Period; and
- Complete an Eligible Transaction; and
- Download the Hang Seng Olive Wellness App (“Hang Seng Olive”) and register as Hang Seng Olive member; and
- Maintain an active Designated Bank Account when redeeming the Reward (as defined below), to be eligible for the Reward (“Eligible Customer”).
- “Eligible Transaction” refers to any successful application for an Eligible Policy where the Eligible Policy (a) must be issued by Hang Seng Insurance Company Limited (“Hang Seng Insurance”) on or before 31 January 2025; and (b) must remain in force for at least 60 days after the relevant cooling-off period. Any Eligible Policy application that is not credited, is cancelled, or is refunded will not qualify for this Promotion.
- Eligible Customers can receive Olive Point reward of Hang Seng Olive following the reward conversion rate of HKD1 annual premium of the Eligible Policy to 1 Olive Point ("Reward") according to the annual premium option of the Eligible Policy for each individual Eligible Transaction. In case of Eligible Policies denominated in USD, USD1:HKD7.75 will be used as USD exchange rate for calculation. The Olive Point Reward will be rounded down to the nearest integer. Any Olive Point Reward of less than 1 Olive Point will not be rewarded. The maximum total amount of Reward for all Eligible Policies for each Eligible Customer is 390,000 Olive Points.
- Eligible Customers must log in to the Hang Seng Olive on or before 30 June 2025 and input the valid Olive redemption code in the gift box icon at the bottom right of the home page to redeem the Reward. The designated Olive redemption code will be sent via SMS notification to the Eligible Customer’s Registered Mobile Number within 90 days after the cooling-off period of the Eligible Policy.
- Each Eligible Customer will be distributed an Olive redemption code once only per Eligible Transaction. Each Eligible Customer must safeguard the Olive redemption code, as it will not be reissued in case of loss, theft, or expiry.
- After successfully inputting the designated Olive redemption code on Hang Seng Olive, the Eligible Customer will receive the Reward in that Hang Seng Olive account.
- Under no circumstances can the redeemed Reward be changed or cancelled, nor can the Reward be transferred or exchanged for cash.
- Hang Seng Bank reserves the right to vary or convert Olive Point(s) to other forms of rewards equivalent to the same values / amounts / earnings ratio of the Reward to eligible customers from time to time without prior notice.
- Any transaction that is ultimately cancelled, refunded or found to be fraudulent will not be eligible for this Promotion, and the relevant customer will not be distributed the Reward.
- The redemption and use of the Reward are subject to the Hang Seng Bank Limited User Agreement for Hang Seng Olive (Mobile App) (“User Agreement”). For details, please refer to the User Agreement.
- Hang Seng Bank and Hang Seng Insurance reserve the right to amend, suspend or terminate this Promotion and revise the relevant terms and conditions without prior notice.
- Unless otherwise specified, this Promotion cannot be used in conjunction with staff benefits of Hang Seng Bank.
- Except for the Eligible Customer, Hang Seng Bank and Hang Seng Insurance (including their successors and assignees), no other person shall have any right to enforce any of the provisions of these terms and conditions or to enjoy any of the benefits under these terms and conditions under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance.
- Hang Seng Bank and Hang Seng Insurance shall have the final decision on all matters relating to the Promotion and such decision shall be binding on all parties. In case of any dispute, the decision of Hang Seng Bank and Hang Seng Insurance shall prevail.
- These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
- These terms and conditions are subject to prevailing regulatory requirements.
- In case of any discrepancy between the English and Chinese versions of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.

CouponPower Guaranteed Life Insurance Plan is underwritten by Hang Seng Insurance Company Limited (“Hang Seng Insurance”). Hang Seng Insurance is authorised and regulated by the Insurance Authority of the HKSAR. Hang Seng Bank Limited (“Hang Seng Bank”) is an insurance agent authorised by Hang Seng Insurance and the insurance products are products of Hang Seng Insurance but not Hang Seng Bank. In respect of an eligible dispute (as defined in the Terms of Reference for the Financial Dispute Resolution Centre in relation to the Financial Dispute Resolution Scheme) arising between Hang Seng Bank and you out of the selling process or processing of the related insurance product transaction, Hang Seng Bank will enter into a Financial Dispute Resolution Scheme process with you; however, any dispute over the contractual terms of the insurance products should be resolved between Hang Seng Insurance and you directly.
