Terms and Conditions of Saving Planner Promotional Offers during April – June 2020

General Terms and Conditions

  1. The promotion period is from 3 Apr 2020 to 30 Jun 2020 (both days inclusive) (“Promotion Period”).
  2. Except specified otherwise, the Saving Planner Promotions Offers (“the Offers”) are applicable to selected customers holding personal account who received the relevant promotion materials from Hang Seng Bank Limited (the “Bank”) and have logged on Saving Planner via Hang Seng Personal Banking mobile app within the Promotion Period(“Eligible Customers”).
  3. Any logon that is found to be fraudulent will not be considered as eligible logon, and the related customers will not be rewarded.
  4. Hang Seng Bank Limited (“the Bank”) reserves the right to suspend, revise or terminate the below offer at any time and to amend the terms and conditions thereof from time to time. In case of any disputes, the decision of the Bank shall be final.
  5. No person other than the Eligible Customers and the Bank (which includes its successors and assigns) will have any right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance to enforce or enjoy the benefit of any of the provision of these Terms and Conditions.
  6. The Offers cannot be used in conjunction with other promotions/offers provided by the Bank.
  7. Cash Dollars rewards mentioned in these Terms and Conditions ("Cash Dollars") will be credited to the Eligible Customer's Hang Seng Credit Card Principal Card account with the highest Cash Dollars balance. If an Eligible Customer has one or more than one Hang Seng Credit Card with an outstanding Advance Cash Dollars balance, the Cash Dollars will be credited to the Credit Card Principal Card account with the highest outstanding Advance Cash Dollars balance at that time. Eligible Customer must have an applicable Hang Seng Credit Card Principal Card. Any Eligible Customer who does not have any applicable Hang Seng Credit Card Principal Card can make enquiries to the Bank and apply for one. The application must be successfully approved one month before the crediting of the relevant Cash Dollars in order to be eligible for the Cash Dollars rewards. If the application for the Credit Card is not approved, the Eligible Customers will not be offered any Cash Dollars. Upon the crediting of the Cash Dollars, the relevant Credit Card accounts must still be valid and with good credit records.
  8. All the Cash Dollars offers are not applicable to Hang Seng enJoy Card, Supplementary Card, Business Card, Commercial Card, USD Visa Gold Card, UnionPay RMB Diamond Commercial Card, Renminbi Credit Card, Spending Card, e-shopping Mastercard and Private Label Card. The Cash Dollars cannot be transferred or converted into cash. The use of Cash Dollars is subject to the Terms and Conditions of the Hang Seng Credit Card Membership Rewards Programme and/or other relevant terms and conditions.   9. These Terms and Conditions are governed by and will be construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
  10. These Terms and Conditions are subject to prevailing regulatory requirements.
  11. The English version of these terms and conditions shall prevail whenever there is a discrepancy between the English and Chinese versions.

    12. Terms and Conditions for “Welcome Reward for New Saving Planner User” (the “Welcome Rewards”):

Eligible customers are entitled to receive $20 Cash Dollars if they successfully set up a saving plan by logging on Saving Planner via Hang Seng Personal e-Banking mobile app during the Promotion Period. subject to a quota of 5,000 on a first-come, first-served basis, based on the chronological order of the set up dates of the customers’ first savings plans.
  13. The Bank will credit the $20 Cash Dollars that the Eligible Customers can earn to their applicable Hang Seng Credit Card Principal Card account on or before 31 August 2020.
  14. Eligible customers who set up a saving plan with a duration of at least 6 months (“the Eligible Plan”) by logging on Saving Planner via Hang Seng Personal e-Banking mobile app during the Promotion Period and log on Saving Planner at least 4 times a month for 6 consecutive months (“the Criteria”) are entitled to receive an extra $80 Cash Dollars. Subject to a quota of 5,000. If the number of Eligible Customers fulfilling the Criteria exceeds the quota, the winners will be determined by the chronological order of the set up dates of the Eligible Plans.. The Bank will credit the $80 Cash Dollars to the applicable Hang Seng Credit Card Principal Card account of the Eligible customers as the below timeline.

  15. The Bank will determine the eligibility of all Welcome Rewards based on the order of the set up date of the saving plan records held by the Bank. In case of any disputes, the Bank’s records shall be final and conclusive.
  16. When crediting the Cash Dollars, the relevant account and the Hang Seng Personal e-Banking service shall still remain effective in order to receive the Welcome Reward. If any Eligible Customers have cancelled the relevant account or the e-Banking service. Such customers shall be disqualified without further notice and the Welcome Reward will be considered as forfeited.
