Terms & Conditions for iPoint Promotion

General terms and conditions:
1.

Unless otherwise specified, all the promotions are valid from 2 July to 30 September 2016 (“Promotion Period”). All the cash vouchers are only applicable at the iPoint Sales and Service Centre (“iPoint”) of Hang Seng Bank Limited (“the Bank”) which is located at address below and for customers who have successfully met the designated requirements.

Unless otherwise specified, each customer can enjoy the respective cash vouchers of each offer below once only.
3.
The offers set out below are not available to corporate account customers, the staff members of the Bank and its subsidiary companies and any party who enjoys staff privileges.
4.
All the cash vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash or other gifts. The cash vouchers will not be re-issued in case of loss or damage.
5.
The use of the cash vouchers is subject to the relevant terms and conditions of suppliers. Please refer to the relevant terms and conditions stated on the cash vouchers for details. The Bank is not the supplier of the cash vouchers and will not be responsible for any liabilities related to the cash vouchers. In case of disputes, customers should deal with the respective supplier directly.
6.
The cash vouchers are available while stocks last. The Bank reserves the right to replace the cash vouchers with another item. The value and nature of the replacement item may differ from the original cash vouchers.
7.
No person other than the Customer and the Bank (which includes its successors and assigns) will have any right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance to enforce or enjoy the benefit of any of the provision of these Terms and Conditions.
8.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and will be construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
9.
These Terms and Conditions are subject to prevailing regulatory requirements.
10.
The Bank reserves the right to suspend, vary or terminate the following offers at any time and to amend the relevant terms and conditions from time to time without prior notice.
11.
The decision of the Bank on all matters relating to the following offers shall be final and binding on all parties concerned.
12. In case of any discrepancy between the English and the Chinese versions of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.

Terms and conditions for Prestige Banking and Preferred Banking offers:
1.
Unless otherwise specified, the cash vouchers are only applicable to customers who meet the designated account opening requirements and open a new/upgrade an Integrated Account of Prestige Banking (“Prestige Banking”) or Integrated Account of Preferred Banking (“Preferred Banking”) at iPoint during the Promotion Period ("Eligible Customer"), excluding:
(a) existing customers who are holding the sole-named or joint-named Prestige Banking or Preferred Banking, or
(b) customers who have closed any Prestige Banking or Preferred Banking with the Bank during the period from 1 January 2016 to 30 September 2016, or
(c) those whose accounts have been terminated in any periods.
2. During the Promotion Period, Eligible Customers who open a new/upgrade the following account can enjoy:

3.
Each Eligible Customer can only get the cash vouchers of Prestige Banking or Preferred Banking once.
4.
If an Eligible Customer newly opens/upgrades more than one Prestige Banking or Preferred Banking during the Promotion Period (including the sole-named or joint-named Prestige Banking or Preferred Banking), entitlement to the cash vouchers will be based on the earliest account opening/upgrading date.
5.
If an Eligible Customer newly opens/upgrades to both Prestige Banking and Preferred Banking during the Promotion Period, he/she will only be entitled to the cash voucher of Prestige Banking.
6.
In case the relevant Prestige Banking or Preferred Banking is a joint-named account, only the primary account holder can enjoy the cash vouchers.

New Customers refer to customers who open a new Prestige Banking or Preferred Banking excluding:
(a)
existing customers who are holding any Hong Kong Dollars / Foreign Currency savings, current, time deposit accounts or any Hang Seng integrated accounts (including Prestige Banking, Preferred Banking, Green Banking and Integrated Account), or
(b)
customers who have closed any of the above accounts with the Bank within the period of 1 January 2016 to 30 September 2016, or
(c)
those whose accounts mentioned above have been terminated in any period.

Terms and conditions for Credit Card offer:
1.
During the Promotion Period, customers can get HKD20 cash voucher for applying designated credit cards at iPoint with all supporting documents required (Not applicable for Express Approval Service).
2. The cash voucher offer is applicable to customers applying credit card principal card only.

Terms and conditions for Personal Instalment Loan offer:
During the Promotion Period, customer can get HKD50 cash voucher for successful application of Handy Cash Personal Instalment Loan at iPoint.

Terms and conditions for Hang Seng Bupa PreciousHealth Series Health Insurance Schemes offer:
1.
Customers who have successfully enrolled in the Excel Health Insurance Scheme, Global Supreme Health Insurance Scheme and Global Infinite Health Insurance Scheme ("Relevant Schemes") as policyholders at iPoint during the Promotion Period is entitled to a HKD50 cash voucher. For the application, the decision of the Bank and Bupa (Asia) Limited ("Bupa") shall be final.
2.
The signing date of the designated schemes application form must fall within the Promotion Period and the relevant contract must be successfully approved and effective on or before 1 November 2016.
3.
The cash voucher offer is not applicable to customers who have cancelled the designated schemes within 6 months prior to the start date of Promotion Period.
4.
If subscribers who have received HKD50 cash voucher and subsequently cancels the relevant contract within 12 months after the contract effective date, the Bank reserves the right to deduct the amount equivalent to the value of the HKD50 cash voucher from any accounts of the customer maintained with the Bank without giving any prior notice.
5.
The Bank and Bupa are not the supplieers of the cash voucher and will not accept any liabilities in relation thereto. In case of disputes, customers should deal with the supplier directly.

The above information is a product summary of information for reference only. Please refer to the promotion leaflet/flyer and contract for the detailed coverage, exact terms and conditions and exclusions of the Relevant Schemes. The Relevant Schemes are underwritten by Bupa which is authorized and regulated by the Commissioner of Insurance of the HKSAR. The Bank is an insurance agent authorised by Bupa for the exclusive distribution of the above schemes. Subscription will be payable to Bupa upon enrolment of Relevant Schemes. Bupa would provide the Bank the relevant commission and performance bonus in accordance to the selling of Relevant Schemes. The existing sales staff remuneration policy offered by the Bank would take into account various aspects of the staff performance but not solely on the sales amount. In respect of an eligible dispute arising between the Bank and the customer out of the selling process or processing of the related transaction, the Bank is required to enter into a Financial Dispute Resolution Scheme process with the customer; however any dispute over the contractual terms or performance (claims and service) of the product should be resolved directly between Bupa and the customer.

Terms and conditions for Life Insurance offer:
1.
HKD50 cash voucher is only applicable to customers who have completed Personal Customer Insurance and Financial Needs Analysis Form during the promotion period at iPoint.
2.
The Bank and Hang Seng Insurance Company Limited (“Hang Seng Insurance”) are not the suppliers of the cash voucher and will not accept any liabilities in relation thereto. In case of disputes, customers should deal with the supplier directly.
3.
In case of any disputes regarding the cash voucher, the Bank and Hang Seng Insurance reserve the right of final decision.
   
The above Life Insurance Plans are underwritten by Hang Seng Insurance. The underwriter is authorized and regulated by the Commissioner of Insurance of the HKSAR. The Bank is an insurance agent authorized by Hang Seng Insurance and the insurance products are products of Hang Seng Insurance but not the Bank. In respect of an eligible dispute (as defined in the Terms of Reference for the Financial Dispute Resolution Centre in relation to the Financial Dispute Resolution Scheme) arising between the Bank and you out of the selling process or processing of the related insurance product transaction, the Bank will enter into a Financial Dispute Resolution Scheme process with you; however any dispute over the contractual terms of the insurance products should be resolved between Hang Seng Insurance and you directly.

Terms and conditions for e-Services offers:

1.
The offers are only applicable to personal account customers. For joint-named accounts, only the primary account holder is eligible for the offers.
2.
Customers who have successfully registered for Hang Seng Personal e-Banking (“Personal e-Banking”) at iPoint during the Promotion Period can receive a HKD20 cash voucher.
3.
Customers who have opted in for e-Statement/ e-Advice services at iPoint, can receive an extra HKD20 cash voucher.
4.
Each eligible customer can only enjoy the Personal e-Banking and e-Statement/e-Advice offer once and can only receive a maximum of HKD40 worth of cash vouchers in total.
