General Terms and Conditions of SimplyFund Rewards (the “Promotion”):
- Unless otherwise specified, the promotion period is from 1 October 2024 to 31 December 2024, both days inclusive (the "Promotion Period").
- Unless otherwise specified, the Promotion is applicable to Prestige Private, Prestige Banking, Preferred Banking and Integrated Account personal customers of Hang Seng Bank Limited (the “Bank”) (“Eligible Customers”).
- The Promotion is considered on a "per-Eligible Customer basis". In case the relevant account is a joint-named account, only the primary account holder can enjoy the Promotion.
- Unless otherwise specified, the Promotion is not applicable to Business Banking and Private Banking customers of the Bank, and cannot be used in conjunction with other offer(s) of the Bank.
- No person other than the customer and the Bank (which includes its successors and assigns) will have any right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance to enforce or enjoy the benefit of any of the provision of these Terms and Conditions.
- These Terms and Conditions are governed by and will be construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
- These Terms and Conditions are subject to prevailing regulatory requirements.
- For more details of the Promotion, please contact the Bank’s staff. The Promotion is offered by the Bank. The Bank reserves the right to suspend, vary or terminate the Promotion and to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. The Bank also reserves the right of final decision on all matters relating to the Promotion, which shall be binding on all parties concerned.
- In case of any discrepancy between the English and the Chinese versions of these Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.
Terms and Conditions of SimplyFund Account Opening Reward (“Reward 1”):
- Reward 1 is only applicable to Preferred Banking and Integrated Account personal customers who did not have a SimplyFund Account (Account Suffix 384) on or before 30 September 2024, and such Eligible Customers newly and successfully open a SimplyFund Account and hold a valid Risk Profiling Questionnaire record with risk tolerance level between 1 and 5 during the Promotion Period (“Eligible Customers of Reward 1”).
- During the Promotion Period, the first 5,000 Eligible Customers of Reward 1 are entitled to free fund units with value of HKD20.
- Each Eligible Customer of Reward 1 can get at most free fund units value at HKD20 only.

The Bank will draw one fund from the funds available for
subscription with SimplyFund Account as the reward. The product
risk level of the funds to be drawn (“Fund Units”) will be equal
to or lower than the risk tolerance level of the Eligible
Customer of Reward 1 as of 31 December 2024 based on his/her
Risk Profiling Questionnaire record. For illustration purposes,
the fund units available for subscription with SimplyFund
Account and the respective product risk level are as follows:

Example:
If the risk tolerance level of the Eligible Customer of Reward 1 is “3 - Medium Risk” as of 31 December 2024, the Bank will draw one fund from the fund list above with product risk level ranging from 1 - 3 based on the respective product risk level as of 31 December 2024 as the Fund Units of that Eligible Customer of Reward 1.
- The unit price of the Fund Units to be used will be based on the unit price on one of the dealing dates on or before 31 March 2025 (“Pricing Date”). The Bank will subscribe for the Fund Units for the Eligible Customer of Reward 1 on the Pricing Date. Eligible Customer of Reward 1 can check the exact number of fund units rewarded from his/her SimplyFund Account afterwards. The exact number of fund units rewarded will also be shown in the SimplyFund Account monthly statement.
- Please refer to Hang Seng Personal Mobile App > Investments > SimplyFund > Fund selection guide / Elxplore Funds for the Factsheet and Offering Documents of individual fund.
- The Bank will deposit the Fund Units via a subscription transaction to the SimplyFund Account of the Eligible Customer of Reward 1 on or before 31 March 2025.
- The fund of the Fund Units received by the Eligible Customer of Reward 1 does not represent any investment advice from the Bank. Before the Eligible Customer of Reward 1 makes any investment decision, the Eligible Customer of Reward 1 must make investment decisions in light of his/her own investment objectives, investment experience, financial situation or other needs, and where necessary consult his/her own professional advisers before making any investment.
- Please note that customer will have to pay for the Monthly Account Fee of SimplyFund Account if the Monthly Average Portfolio Value of the SimplyFund Account is HKD5,000 or above. For the details of SimplyFund Account fee, please refer to Hang Seng Bank website > Investments > Investment Fund > SimplyFund.
- Completion time of the SimplyFund Account opening is subject to the Bank's record. The Bank will determine the eligibility of Reward 1 based on the record held by the Bank. In case of any disputes, the Bank’s record shall be final and conclusive.
- On or before 31 March 2025, a MMS notifying Eligible Customers of Reward 1 of the Fund Units details will be sent by the Bank. All relevant accounts and the Risk Profiling Questionnaire record of the Eligible Customer of Reward 1 must remain valid until the Fund Units are deposited into their relevant account.
- In case of any reason the Bank is unable to provide the Fund Units, the Bank reserves the right to substitute the Fund Units with other reward at any time without prior notice. The value or nature of the substitute reward may differ from the Fund Units provided by Reward 1 .
Terms and Conditions of SimplyFund Account Referral Reward (“Reward 2”):
- The Referrer of Reward 2 must be an Eligible Customer with an existing SimplyFund Account or a newly opened SimplyFund Account during the Promotion Period and has provided “Opt-in for all marketing channels” or “Opt-in for partial marketing channels” for MMS from Marketing Preferences (the “Referrer”). And the Referee must be an Eligible Customer who did not have a SimplyFund Account on or before 30 September 2024 (the “Referee”).

During the Promotion Period, the Referrer will receive a
designated Referral Code (the “Referral Code”) via MMS. The
Referrer can share the Referral Code to a few Referees. If a
Referee has successfully completed the 2 Designated Tasks below
(“Designated Tasks”) via Hang Seng Personal Mobile App with the
Referral Code input (the “Successful Referral”), the respective
Referrer and Referee will each be entitled to HKD100 cash reward
upon each Successful Referral. - Designated Task 1: Successfully
opened a SimplyFund Account with Referral Code input (the
“Designated Task 1”)
- Designated Task 2: Successfully subscribed for funds via SimplyFund Account in any amount (the “Designated Task 2”) - Reward 2 is applicable to the first 500 Successful Referrals. Completion time of the Designated Tasks is subject to the Bank's record. In case of any disputes, the Bank’s record shall be final and conclusive.
- If a Referee failed to input the designated Referral Code or provided a Referral Code other than the designated Referral Code when conducting the Designated Task 1 during the Promotion Period, no cash reward will be offered even if the Referee has successfully opened the account and subscribed for funds.
- The Bank will credit the cash reward into the Hong Kong Dollar Settlement Account of the relevant SimplyFund Account on or before 31 March 2025. The Referrer and the Referee(s) must continue to maintain the relevant account when the relevant cash reward is credited.

Reward 2 is not applicable to the staff of the Bank. The Referrer is prohibited to claim themselves as an employee
or agent of the Bank, and not allowed to have any relationship
with the SimplyFund Account of the Referee, including
- Assisted the Referee to open the SimplyFund Account;
- Guided the Referee to use the SimplyFund Account or subscribe for funds with the SimplyFund Account;
- Soliciting or placing orders or having any other ongoing involvement in the Referee’s investment account;
- Act as a contact person between the Bank and the Referee;
- Share or spread any marketing materials or advertisements of Reward 2.
