Terms and Conditions for “1881 Heritage Samsung Galaxy Studio Shopping Reward” (the “Promotion”)

General Terms and Conditions:

  1. “1881 Heritage Samsung Galaxy Studio Shopping Reward” is applicable to Hang Seng Credit Card issued by Hang Seng Bank Limited ("Hang Seng") (excluding Hang Seng CUP Credit Card, USD Visa Gold Card, Renminbi Card, UnionPay Diamond Commercial Card, e-shopping Mastercard, Private Label Card and Spending Card) ("Eligible Credit Card").
  2. Net spending means the final amount charged to the Hang Seng Credit Card. The use of Cash Dollars / cash or gift vouchers / other discounts / offers will not be taken into account when calculating net spending.
  3. The promotion period is from 17 April to 27 May 2018, both dates inclusive (“Promotion Period”).
  4. Samsung Electronics H.K. Company Limited (“Samsung”) may reject an Eligible Credit Card if its payment system cannot handle the Eligible Credit Card type. Please contact Samsung for details.
  5. Unless otherwise specified, this Promotion cannot be used in conjunction with other special Promotions, discounts or promotional coupons, nor be transferred or exchanged for cash or other offers/gifts.
  6. Use of Samsung Pay with Hang Seng Credit Cards is subject to the terms and conditions of Mobile Payment Service Addendum to Cardmember Agreement. For details, please visit hangseng.com/samsungpay.
  7. All products, services, gift certificates/vouchers and information related to this promotion are directly sold and supplied to customers by respective companies who are solely responsible for all related obligations and liabilities.
  8. For the use of the Gift Certificates & Vouchers, please refer to the terms and conditions printed thereon.
  9. By participating in this Promotion, each Participant under this Promotion agrees that Samsung shall be entitled to collect the relevant transaction information and personal data which may be used for the purpose of carrying out rewards fulfillment, any enquiries or resolving any disputes in relation to this Promotion.
  10. Information collected or received as aforesaid by Samsung solely for the purpose of this Promotion.
  11. This Promotion is governed by these terms and conditions and other Terms and Conditions stipulated by Samsung. Please inquire the details with Samsung for its terms and conditions.
  12. Hang Seng reserves the right to suspend, revise or terminate the Promotion at any time and to amend the terms and conditions thereof from time to time. In case of any disputes, the decision of Hang Seng shall be final.
  13. No person other than the customer and Hang Seng (which includes its successors and assigns) will have any right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance to enforce or enjoy the benefit of any of the provision of these Terms and Conditions.
  14. These Terms and Conditions are governed by and will be construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
  15. These Terms and Conditions are subject to prevailing regulatory requirements.
  16. The English version of these terms and conditions shall prevail whenever there is any discrepancy between the English and Chinese versions.

    17. Specific Terms and Conditions for Samsung Pay Provision Reward

  17. This reward is applicable to handsets and devices supporting Samsung Pay sold in Hong Kong (“Eligible Device”). The supported handsets and devices may be updated from time to time, for details please visit Samsung Pay’s website. (http://www.samsung.com/hk_en/samsungpay/).
  18. Customers are required to newly register for Samsung Pay and successfully add the Eligible Credit Card to Samsung Pay in the Eligible Device during the Promotion Period and present that Eligible Device at the Samsung Pay promotion counter of 1881 Heritage Samsung Galaxy Studio on the same day to redeem the HKD50 worth of Starbucks Gift Certificates.
  19. Each Eligible Device should only be eligible for HKD50 worth of Starbucks Gift Certificates during the Promotion Period. Gift Certificates are only applicable while stocks last.
  20. Any devices that has already been rewarded for adding Hang Seng Credit Card to Samsung Pay in “Cityplaza Samsung Galaxy Studio Shopping Reward” or “Samsung Galaxy Studio Shopping Reward” shall not be eligible for this reward.

    21. Specific Terms and Conditions for Samsung Pay Spending Reward

  21. This reward is applicable to handsets and devices supporting Samsung Pay sold in Hong Kong (“Eligible Device”). The supported handsets and devices may be updated from time to time, for details please visit Samsung Pay’s website. (http://www.samsung.com/hk_en/samsungpay/).
  22. This reward is only applicable to any outlets accepting Samsung Pay in 1881 Heritage (“Participating Merchant”).
  23. Customers are required to spend designated amount of net purchase as per Table 1 (with same day sales slips of Eligible Transaction) with the Eligible Credit Card via Samsung Pay at Participating Merchant in 1881 Heritage during the Promotion Period (“Eligible Transaction”) and present the original copy of the related sales slip, machine-printed sales receipt from merchant and Eligible Device which carried out the Eligible Transaction at the Samsung Pay promotion counter of 1881 Heritage Samsung Galaxy Studio on the same day to redeem the reward.

  24. Eligible Transaction excludes the following transactions, including but not limited to handling / administrative fee of banking service (including but not limited to Stocks Investment Savings Plan, financial fee, cash advance, foreign exchange, etc), recurring billing transactions (e.g. Octopus Automatic Add Value Service), add value for mobile pre-paid card, settle bill payment (including but not limited to tax payment, telephone bills and public utilities), non-Hong Kong dollar transactions, online transaction, mail/phone orders, cash/gift coupon purchase, membership fee payment, tuition, concert ticket payment, used movie tickets, sales venue or booths receipts, unposted / cancelled / refunded / transaction without sales receipt and any unauthorized transaction, hand written or reprinted receipts, split sales transactions, any transactions that are subject to cancellation, charge-back, return of goods and/or refund.
  25. Samsung reserves the final decision for determining the eligibility of each transaction. The sales slips should indicate clearly part of the card number, merchant name, transaction date, transaction amount and signature of Cardholder (if applicable). Machine-printed sales receipt from merchant should indicate clearly the transaction item and date.
  26. Each Eligible Device should only be eligible for a maximum of HKD50 worth of Starbucks Gift Certificates and HKD200 worth of Mannings Gift Vouchers in the Promotion Period. Gift Certificates & Vouchers are only applicable while stocks last.
