Notes :
1. Only applicable to the Travelsure Protection Plan Single Trip Cover – Area 2* and Area 3*. For an Insured Person aged 70 or above (on the day of injury), the maximum amount for the benefits of Medical and Other Expenses and Personal Accident will be limited to 50%. For an Insured Person aged under 18 (on the day of death), the accidental death benefit will be limited to HKD100,000.
2. This benefit is only applicable to the Travelsure Protection Plan Single Trip Cover – Area 2* and Area 3*. If the Insured Person rents or hires a rental vehicle during the Journey which is involved in a collision whilst under his/ her control or the rental vehicle is stolen or damaged and the rental agreement includes an insurance excess (or deductible or similar condition), the Insured Person will be reimbursed, according to the Policy, the insurance excess paid for the above described loss or damage to such rental vehicle, up to a maximum of HKD5,000. This benefit shall be payable only once per Journey. The Insured Person must take relevant comprehensive motor vehicle insurance provided by the rental organization against loss or damage to the rental vehicle during the rental period.
3. The maximum amount recoverable for each mobile telecommunication device is HKD1,500 (Single Trip Cover - Area 1*) and HKD3,000 (Single Trip Cover – Area 2* & Area 3*).
4. The insured age of Travelsure Protection Plan Single Trip Cover has no upper limit and incurs no additional premium. However, the maximum amount for the benefits of Medical and Other Related Expenses and Personal Accident will be limited to 50% if the Insured Person is aged 70 or above (at the date of incident).

Area 1: Mainland China & Macau SAR (For the period of insurance of 5 days or less)
Area 2: Including Mainland China, Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, Guam, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Laos, Macau SAR, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Saipan, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Tinian and Vietnam
Area 3: Worldwide

The Travelsure Protection Plan ("The Plan") is underwritten by QBE General Insurance (Hong Kong) Limited which is authorised and regulated by the Commissioner of Insurance of the HKSAR. Hang Seng Bank Limited (“Hang Seng Bank”) is an insurance agent authorised by QBE General Insurance (Hong Kong) Limited for the distribution of The Plan. Premiums will be payable to QBE General Insurance (Hong Kong) Limited upon application of The Plan. QBE General Insurance (Hong Kong) Limited would provide Hang Seng Bank commission and performance bonus accordingly in respect of the selling of The Plan. The existing staff remuneration policy on sales offered by Hang Seng Bank takes into account various aspects of the staff performance instead of focusing solely on the sales amount.
In respect of an eligible dispute arising between the Hang Seng Bank Limited and the customer out of the selling process or processing of the related transaction, Hang Seng Bank Limited is required to enter into a Financial Dispute Resolution Scheme process with the customer; however any dispute over the contractual terms of the product should be resolved between directly QBE General Insurance (Hong Kong) Limited and the customer.
